  1. I am enjoying the book so far. I really like the fact that is written from Fawad's point of view, it gives it an innocence to it. I feel that if Georgie or Fawad's mother had written the book the story would have been very different.

  2. I agree about Fawad's point of view, it is innocent. I am enjoying it too, I also like how it is not completely serious -- has SOME humor... not much, but some! I'm about halfway.

  3. I just started ch. 8...Im a little behind. My favorite quote so far comes from ch. 6 "If you give a bike (to a boy), he is going to be happy he is Muslim, a Christian, or a Jew. And if you love someone truly, it doesn't matter if he or she is Afghan or British."

  4. I have about 50 pages to go so I can finish the book. So far I love it and I also like that fact that it is written from a child's point of view. It does add a touch of innocence to it. Happy reading ladies you will not be disappointed!!!!!!
